M.A.Z.E. History

Ms. Sandy Love is the CEO/Founder of MAZE Youth Advocacy, established in 2014. Her journey is rooted in resilience, service, and a deep commitment to youth empowerment. Raised in Philadelphia and having experienced early childhood trauma, including time within the Children’s Aid Society system, Sandy’s life shaped her passion for advocacy, justice, and restoration.

A United States Army veteran, Sandy carried her discipline, leadership, and service-minded approach into both family and community work. After military service, she dedicated herself to raising and homeschooling her four children while continuing her education. She earned an Associate degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, and a Master’s degree in Legal Studies, with continued legal studies further strengthening her advocacy work.

Through MAZE Youth Advocacy, Sandy has focused on supporting vulnerable and justice-involved youth, including those impacted by exploitation, housing instability, trauma, and court involvement. Her work has included mentoring youth in juvenile facilities, supporting reform-focused initiatives, and partnering with community and justice-based organizations.

Under her leadership, MAZE continues to champion prevention, mentorship, crisis support, and youth-centered advocacy — helping young people move from instability toward safety, dignity, purpose, and long-term opportunity.
